I love the design of the face a lot 
I don't know why...but this just made me think about the Three Stooges "Have Rocket Will Travel" movie. There is a space spider in that flick...it's an over-sized tarantula that shoots fire out of it's mouth >_< Got to love those cheesy 50's and 60's movies.
