Prosopagnosia

Prosopagnosia is a condition where a person cannot recognize faces. While they still see others, they can’t place who the person is, even if it’s a loved one, or even a photograph of themselves. Many work around this, however, by instead paying attention to a person’s clothes, their hair color, or their voice and mannerisms. The condition is often caused by either brain damage or an underdeveloped part of the brain that is specifically tasked with recognizing faces.

Made in the interest of mental health, I chose to create a conceptual take on the matter, in the hopes of giving this condition visibility and of educating people.
